This is a look that I'm seeing more and more of. Very subtle and low key. Just get your everyday '60s cruiser, slam it, throw on some stock-ish wheels and a set of thin line whites and you've got it nailed. I love it! |
Some fancy striping on the back of a '60s Mercury. |
Another low-key look, this time on a VC Valiant. I imagine the wheels are 'Hustlers', but they look just like a set of American Racings and with the thin whites make a great combo. |
A few more bucks thrown at the wheel/tyre combo, but this is basically the same treatment. Relatively stock body with a slammed stance and some cool wheels. I'm diggin' it! |
More of the same. I told you I liked it. This time a set of Cragar S/S wheels and thin whites. This is a look I'm seriously thinking about for the Rambler. |
Back to the old stuff. I see this coupe a fair bit when I'm in Melbourne and I love the look. That serious chop combined with the chromies and whitewalls give it a real '60s flavour. |
Just a very nicely detailed 427 with a twin-quad setup. |
Henry must be turning in his grave! Look at all those colours and not a black one in sight! |
I thought this was a really cool idea for a display border. Stencilled logos of all the great speed equipment manufacturers. Edelbrock, Eddie Meyer, Mallory, Moon, very simple, very clever and VERY cool. |
Looks like the '56 Chevys rounded up the Ford coupes. Not sure if these blokes know each other, but I thought it was an interesting photo with the matching Chevies. |
